Let us weave a wonderous spell of happiness & joy to make your child’s party an unforgettable experience! Our parties cater for between 10 and 15 children.
We have a team of 10 party hostesses and 10 little helpers who work on a rotational basis. You can request a certain staff member if you wish.
 We provide delicious party food, costumes to wear, yummy cakes and fun activites not only for the children, but also for adult guests who may prefer to stay - and either join in with the party or relax and enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee on our deck which overlooks the Enchanted Garden. What happens during a party

A hostess and assistant (in costume) will greet & look after the children during the entire party.

Upon arrival all guests go into the costume room. We have lots of costumes from our dress-up room for boys, girls & adults to wear during the party.

When everyone's ready we go on a treasure hunt in the amazing Enchanted Garden (there's plenty of room for the kids to run around). If it's raining we have a fun treasure hunt inside.

Then it's time for opening presents, or play a game instead.

We'll then sit at the table and have a YUMMY magical tea party feast! (Additional $110 - we prefer that you do not bring your own kids food please). Click here for our kids food details.

Then we'll go into the craft room & ice a yummy home-made shortbread biscuit ("magic biscuit") to eat or take home.

Now back to the table for birthday cake! We can provide the birthday cake (or bring your own).

If it's a rainy day we can make magical wands & pirate flags in our craft room or play some fun inside games. Don't worry - we have plenty to keep everyone busy. Better to have it at our place on a rainy day!

Lastly we have a special wishing stone ceremony where each child receives a magical wishing stone & wishing dust in a special little organza party bag + a balloon & a lollipop.

We have relaxing background music during the party.

There's a comfortable undercover adults’ area + complimentary tea & coffee, water carafes, serviettes, plastic plates, plastic cutlery, etc. We can provide the adults’ food (or bring your own).
RAINY DAY PARTIES...
Ivy Cottage is fully self-contained to cater for wet weather! The adult's area is undercover & we have a craft room to keep the kids busy. We also have lots of inside games to play inside the magical cottage. We have it all down to a fine art! Better to have it at our place on a rainy day.

Party times!
Theme party times:
9.30am-11am / 12.30pm-2pm / 3.30pm-5pm.
After school “twilight parties" 4pm-5.30pm weekdays.
* pay an extra $75 and add an extra half hour onto your party (we can ONLY do this with the late afternoon party times: 3.30-5pm & 4-5.30pm parties!)
Costs
Adults, under 1 year olds and children not participating in the party activities are free. Price includes complimentary tea & coffee for adults.
At the end of the party we provide each child with a magical wishing stone & magic wishing dust in a little organza party bag + a balloon & a lollipop.
IMPORTANT!
* There is a minimum payment of 10 children
(even if less than 10 kids attend)
Due to the size of our venue:
* Maximum number of children is 15
* Maximum number of adults is 15
All children 3 years old and under must be accompanied by a caregiver at all times!
